Delivered data

Delivered data retains a trace to the requirements, evidence, and decisions that shaped it.

Follow the reason into the definition

A captured business decision is linked to a reviewed requirement with a source and an owner. Discovery records what the source can actually support. Modeling translates that requirement into a design, and metadata carries the design into transformation rules.

The links support review in both directions: from the original reason toward implementation, and from a transformation back to its model, discovery findings, requirement, and source evidence. A rule can be examined in context rather than interpreted in isolation.

Carry the connections through handover

The delivery chain includes business context, requirements, models, transformation rules, and validation evidence. Handover material keeps those relationships available to the team receiving the work. This helps reviewers distinguish the intended behavior from the evidence recorded for a particular execution.

Reviewed documentation can explain the requirement and design without reproducing raw source evidence or secrets. The purpose is a usable explanation of the delivery and its dependencies, with sensitive material excluded from the client-facing package.
